Born and raised in Southern California, by a spiritual life coach for professional athletes and executives, Layla's upbringing was quite unique. Cleansing environments, self-help, mindfulness, and meditation was something Layla was very familiar with although it was not mainstream in the US yet. Her mother worked hard to set a strong foundation for Layla to thrive and encouraged her to follow her dreams. Layla was a very artistic little girl. She loved to paint, draw, sculpt, and most of all style photoshoots for her friends! She has had a Cannon in her hand since she was six.

The early part of Layla's career began in high-end sales in the Fashion Industry. The level of customer service that she was trained to have today has become a "lost art". This path led to styling some of Hollywood's high profile professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, and executives. Layla also immersed herself in the LA Art Scene, working for a modern gallery on Melrose, then at Art Basel in Miami. She found herself spending a lot of time bouncing around the city and photographing her friend's art installations for social media.

Her background in sales, marketing, and events peaked, but she knew she had a bigger purpose. She wanted to help people see more beauty in life.

At 35, Layla decided to pursue her passion and her Psychology degree. She became fascinated with Positive Psychology and continues to follow current and evolving studies. The knowledge she gained helped her curate her vision to give back in hopes to inspire a wholistic wellness approach to everyday life.

Layla's mission is to work from the inside out to help others take control of their lives and to share the benefits of subjects like grit, flow, awe, and resilience. The goal is to fall asleep each night with a happy heart and wake up with gratitude, ready to charge the day. She truly believes this philosophy helps people see life from a positive perspective, take pride in how we interact with others, and teaches people to move forward with integrity each day.
